KCC MITEX is a 12 mm incombustible mineral fibre acoustic ceiling board that screws straight onto M-Bar steel framing, with no base board. It suits new builds and ceiling refurbishment in schools, shops, hospitals and offices.

Key features

  • Fixes directly to the M-Bar with collated screws; no gypsum base board needed
  • Screws can be removed for access to the ceiling void and for repairs
  • Sound absorption NRC 0.41-0.60; test result NRC 0.60
  • Incombustible, FILK certified, HB top grade, Eco-Label and low-carbon EPD
  • Density of 500 kg/m3 or less makes it lighter than gypsum products
