SMC D-M9BA intrinsically safe 2-color solid state auto switch certified to ATEX, UL/CSA (-917) or the Japanese explosion-proof standard (-924/-925) for hazardous locations.

Key features

  • Intrinsically safe type: II 1G Ex ia IIC T5 Ga (ATEX), Class 1 Zone 0 AEx ia IIC T5 Ga (UL/CSA)
  • Must be connected through a certified safety barrier matching the intrinsic safety parameters
  • 2-color indication (red / green) shows the optimum operating range; materials restricted for secondary battery applications
  • Water resistant 2-color body, IP67; individual wire or M8 / M12 connector lead versions
  • Operating range, mounting position and brackets common with the D-M9 series (CDQ2, CDS1, JMB, JMGP, C96, CP96, MY, CDRQ2 etc.)
  • Overseas-use product (not certified in Korea); supplied as a switch alone
