SMC D-MPG Compact Position Sensor (IO-Link, 25 mm Range)

SMC D-MPG compact position sensor with a separate teach unit, whose sensor head has the same shape as the D-M9 auto switch and detects stroke position of air chucks and small actuators.

Key features

  • Sensor head the same shape as solid state auto switch D-M9; teach unit separated for a compact head
  • Measuring range 25 mm (default, up to 35 mm), repeatability 0.1 mm, resolution 0.01 mm
  • Analog output 0 to 10 V, 1 to 5 V or 4 to 20 mA (switchable); NPN or PNP switch output with set points and 4 modes
  • IO-Link V1.1: 8 ON/OFF outputs and position value; second switch output via IO-Link
  • For air chucks MHZ2, MHZL2, MHZJ2, JMHZ2, MHK2, MHKL2, MHS2/3/4, MHSL3, MHSJ3, MHSH3 and other small actuators
  • Teach unit lead: flying leads 2 m or M8 / M12 4-pin connector 0.3 m; sensor head lead 100 or 300 mm
