SPG SG 60 mm Electromagnetic Brake Motors (Lead Wire, 6 W)

SPG SG series 60 mm square-flange AC electromagnetic brake motors, 6 W, lead-wire type, with a power-off (non-excitation) brake that stops the shaft and holds the load when power is removed.

Key features

  • AC non-excitation run electromagnetic brake mounted at the motor rear; brake engages instantly at power off and holds the load
  • Brake has a built-in rectifier and runs from the same AC supply as the motor; holding force 0.5 to 10 kgf·cm across the range
  • Single-phase versions are built on reversible motors (S2 30 min rating)
  • Shaft options: pinion (gear type) for SG gearheads, D-cut or straight round shaft
  • Two capacitor values per voltage code; specify AC 100 V or 200 V operation when ordering
  • Gearheads are sold separately (SG K/D/S-type gearheads of the same frame)
