The NBP series is a flat plate-type double-acting single-rod pneumatic cylinder with a built-in spring lock unit, in 50 mm bore.

Key features

  • The lock holds the rod in one direction (retract-side or extend-side lock) to prevent dropping or position loss when air is cut off; it is intended as an emergency holding lock, not for intermediate stopping
  • A lock-release bolt allows easy setup during installation
  • The cylinder has a non-rotating rod, built-in speed controllers, felt and coil scraper, and rubber cushions
  • Magnet versions accept strong-magnetic-field and compact auto switches
  • Proof pressure is 1.5 MPa, maximum operating pressure 1.0 MPa, ambient and fluid temperature 5 to 60 C, non-lubricated operation
