The APG-001 is a low-temperature plasma sterilization device that prevents or delays spoilage of water-soluble cutting coolant in machine tool coolant tanks.

Key features

• Active radicals (ozone, hydrogen peroxide, OH) generated by plasma dielectric barrier discharge are injected through a micro bubbler into the coolant, sterilizing 99.9% of spoilage bacteria and removing 90% or more of organic matter
• Clean coolant can be kept in good condition for about 2 years, workshop odor is reduced, and coolant purchase, disposal and tool costs drop along with fewer coolant changes and cleaning stoppages
• The system consists of plasma generator, 60 W power supply, micro bubbler, air flow meter, sedimenter, timer controller and a safety device that cuts power when air supply is lost
• It runs on 3-5 bar factory air; on/off cycle and number of bubblers are set by tank size (e.g. 1 bubbler at 2 min on / 5 min off for tanks up to 200 L, up to 3 bubblers for tanks over 500 L)
• The compact cabinet can be stand- or wall-mounted
