The ACU series is a pneumatic centering (floating) unit used to align and lock cassettes or workpieces, in sizes 65, 100 and 130 mm.

Key features

  • The upper table floats horizontally by 15 to 30 mm and returns to center, then is locked when the piston moves down, so the table does not shake
  • A large shaft diameter increases lateral load capacity while locked, and vacuum suppression at the clutch improves return response when unlocked
  • The cylinder tube is integrated into the body for a compact design, the table material can be selected, and a suction port exhausts internal particles
  • A Lock & Lift version (100 and 130 mm) and height spacers are available; operating pressure is 0.2 to 0.87 MPa without lubrication
