The D8 series is a compact multi-axis EtherCAT servo drive for driving linear and rotary servo motors from one unit.

Key features

  • It accepts 17/23-bit serial rotary encoders and Renishaw absolute BiSS or A/B linear scales via a serial converter
  • Each unit has a 30 ohm/100 W built-in regenerative resistor with terminals for an external resistor, plus a built-in dynamic brake circuit
  • Safe Torque Off, fault black-box logging, life prediction and torque limiting on momentary power loss are provided
  • It operates from 0 to 50 C, is rated IP20 and is CE and NRTL certified
