SPG SB Brake Packs (Contact Type, 1-ph/3-ph)

SPG contact-type electronic brake packs that stop single- and three-phase induction and reversible motors instantaneously when switched by external relays or switches.

Key features

  • Electronic braking circuit: motor alone stops in about 0.1 s
  • Braking current applied for about 0.4 s, then power cut automatically
  • Suitable for inching and short-cycle operation
  • Models for 1-ph 100/110/200/220/200-240 V and 3-ph 200/220/440 V supplies
  • External braking resistor needed for higher outputs (see wiring diagram A/B)
  • SBS-ICE carries the CE mark (TUV Rheinland)
