The UNI DRIVER series is an integrated step motor driver and motion controller with EtherNet communication for 2-phase bipolar step motors from 28 to 86 mm square.

Key features

  • It supports both open-loop (UST) and closed-loop (USV) control, in 1-axis and 2-axis versions, with an optional boost converter
  • The driver runs its own real-time motion algorithm with point-to-point, circular interpolation and semi-helical functions
  • It can be operated from a PC through the supplied Windows DLL API or from a PLC or touch panel over EtherNet UDP, and up to 506 axes can be daisy-chained
  • A motor database simplifies tuning, and motors from various makers can be driven
