SMC AS-R/AS-Q Air Saving Speed Controller (Elbow, Meter-In)

SMC AS-R/AS-Q air saving speed controllers with one-touch fitting: AS-R has a built-in pressure reducing function and AS-Q a built-in quick supply/exhaust function to cut air consumption on the return stroke.

Key features

  • Meter-in construction: the cylinder runs with less flow than conventional meter-out control at the same speed
  • AS-R: supply pressure reduced to approx. 0.2 MPa (handle white); AS-Q: quick supply starts at approx. 0.2 MPa (handle light blue)
  • Elbow type with R male thread (sealant coated) and one-touch fitting for 6 to 12 mm tube
  • Three body sizes: AS22 (1/4 basis), AS32 (3/8 basis), AS42 (1/2 basis)
  • NPT thread with inch tube (07 to 13) and G thread (packing seal) also available on order
  • Listed codes cover R thread, metric tube
