SMC DAS Deceleration Controller (Cylinder Speed Reduction)

SMC DAS series deceleration controller installed between valve and cylinder, switching a cylinder from high speed to a second, slower speed near stroke end to soften impact.

Key features

  • High-speed drive followed by deceleration; adjustable deceleration position (timer handle) and second speed (cushion handle)
  • Shock reduction where shock absorbers are difficult to install, e.g. door opening/closing
  • Not affected by supply pressure fluctuation; deceleration air supplied from drive air
  • Installed between valve and cylinder, easy to add to existing equipment
  • Both-side (L+R) or one-side (L or R) types; metric (light grey) and inch (orange) release bushings
