SMC RJ Shock Absorber (Soft Type, M6 to M27)

SMC RJ series soft-type shock absorber with an original orifice structure for smooth absorption, offered in M6 to M27 standard and M8 to M14 short-stroke versions.

Key features

  • Smooth absorption curve gives a soft stop of the conveyed load and reduces bounce at impact
  • Pre-load mechanism with oil pocket and new oil seal for long continuous operation (up to 10 million cycles)
  • Two collision speed ranges for standard sizes: H (0.05 to 2 m/s) and L (0.05 to 1 m/s)
  • Short stroke type (RJ0805/1006/1410) for improving cycle time of short-stroke actuators
  • Urethane cap (U) type available; replacement caps RBC08C to RBC27C; caps cannot be fitted to the basic type afterwards
  • Hex nut and stopper nut options (J, N, S, SJ, SN) are ordered as suffixes; compatible with RB series
