SMC ZP3B-M Magnet Buffer for Vacuum Pads (M8 to M12)

SMC ZP3B-M series magnet buffer for vacuum pads, giving a constant buffer force over the full stroke to absorb work height differences and soften impact.

Key features

  • Magnetic buffer: reaction force stays constant regardless of stroke position, unlike spring buffers
  • No spring, so no particle generation from spring friction
  • 4-pole magnet provides non-rotating function (returns to position; rotates 180 deg if max. holding torque is exceeded)
  • Copper- and zinc-free construction for secondary battery manufacturing (stainless nut versions, except ZP3B3M-H types)
  • Stainless steel or zinc-chromated steel nut; strokes 3, 6 and 16 mm (16 mm on M12 only)
  • For pads 1.5 to 5 mm (M8), 1.5 to 20 mm (M10) and 1.5 to 32 mm (M12)
