Energy-Saving Control System for Hydraulic Units (Inverter Speed-Setting Controller). This system adds the controller to an existing pump unit and realizes energy savings simply through easy adjustment. The currently installed hydraulic pump and motor are used as-is; the dedicated inverter speed-setting controller, a pressure sensor and an inverter are connected, requiring only simple adjustment. The monitor can display five items: pressure-sensor input (pressure display), inverter output, simplified power-consumption value, sequence input/output code, and alarm output code. Applicable to existing units with a variable piston pump and induction motor of 0.75-7.5 kW. The system itself has no integrated model code; when ordering, specify the controller and pressure-sensor model codes separately. A simplified type with auto-tuning is also available (contact separately). Recommended commercial inverters: Hitachi SJ series, Mitsubishi E500 series, Toshiba VF-S11 series.

Intelligent Hydraulic (IH) Servo Drive Pack. The IH Servo Drive Pack is a compact energy-saving, low-noise hydraulic device integrating an AC servo motor, a bi-directional rotation piston pump, a reservoir and a hydraulic control circuit. It controls pump discharge and discharge pressure by controlling the servo motor speed; combined with a sensor-equipped cylinder and a dedicated controller it easily forms a position / speed / pressure control system. Energy saving: by operating at the speed matching the machine's required flow and pressure, wasteless power loss is eliminated; the bi-directional pump removes the need for directional valves and minimizes pressure loss. Low noise and compact. Digital control via a dedicated controller with high system flexibility; analog I/O is standard. Optional circuit support: counterbalance valve and set-off valve can be mounted (YSD2/YSD3 only). Max rotation speed 2000 r/min (may be limited by use pressure and motor output). Safety valve setting selectable (9.5 / 18.5 / 23.5 MPa). Mounting flange (F) or bracket (B); servo motor connector direction up/down/right/left; pressure sensor head/rod/both/none. Ordered separately: IH controller SK1114-11, position-sensor cylinder (customer-specified). Recommended pressure sensor KH17 (0-35 MPa); recommended position sensor BTL5-A11 (BALLUFF). Power Package (Motor-Driven Integrated Type). YUKEN's power package compactly integrates a small high-pressure vane pump, relief valve and oil tank, and allows a hydraulic circuit to be configured simply by stacking 1/8 solenoid valves (or manual selector valves) and modular valves. The PMR2 is a motor-driven (motor-integrated) package driven on AC 200/220 V, suited to small machines and general industrial machinery. Circuits can be added or changed simply by adding or changing the modular valves stacked on the package, and the package can be used immediately just by hydraulic piping between it and the actuator. Fifteen standard circuits are available (see Yuken Cat. K-48/K-49). Solenoid valves use the DSG-01 series; manual selector valves use the DMG-01 series. Tank capacity 3.4 L. Relief setting range 3.5-14 MPa (specify as MPa x 10). Pump rotation is clockwise viewed from the motor fan side. Order code: PMR2-{size}-{relief}-{motor A/B/N}-{circuit 00-08}-{valve}-40.

Power Package (Pulley-Driven, Flow-Adjusting Built-in Type). YUKEN's power package compactly integrates a small high-pressure vane pump, relief valve and oil tank, with circuits configured by stacking solenoid/modular valves. The PPF2 is a pulley-driven package incorporating a flow-adjustment mechanism that keeps the package discharge almost constant regardless of increases or decreases in the prime-mover rotation speed, making it suitable for use as a power-steering pump. Circuits can be added or changed simply by changing the stacked modular valves. Fifteen standard circuits are available (see Yuken Cat. K-48/K-49); solenoid valves use the DSG-01 series, manual selector valves the DMG-01 series. Tank capacity 3.4 L. Relief setting range 3.5-10.5 MPa (specify as MPa x 10). Minimum speed 500 r/min (at startup, at least 1000 r/min). When a flow-adjusting pulley is fitted, axle radial load 1000 N or less and thrust load 100 N or less. Pump rotation R (clockwise) or L (counter-clockwise) viewed from the shaft end; pulley N (none) / V1S (JIS 5V dia.158.4) / V1 (JIS 5V dia.208.4); mounting F (flange) / L (foot). Standard Hydraulic Power Unit YA Pack. YUKEN's standard hydraulic power unit YA Pack was developed to meet the era's demands for resource saving, energy saving and low noise. It pursues ease of use while offering a rich range of models, so the desired model can be selected. Low noise: equipped with an A-series or AR-series variable piston pump, with careful attention to tank structure and piping, giving a low noise level and good sound quality. Energy saving / low heat generation: a high-efficiency pressure-compensated variable piston pump reduces power loss and saves power consumption. Rich product lineup: 35 models prepared by combining mounted pump, tank capacity and motor output; 21 option types including base plate assembly. A discharge-rate adjustment screw is built into all models. Standardized unit enabling short delivery. Control circuits are easily configured via optional modular valve assembly. Motor insulation class F (all models). Power supply: 50 Hz AC 200 V / 60 Hz AC 200, 220 or 230 V.

Energy-Saving Standard Hydraulic Power Unit YA-e Pack. The YA-e Pack achieves substantial energy saving by combining the pressure-compensation mechanism of a variable piston pump with a dedicated inverter controller that detects load pressure and controls the motor speed. Greatly reduced power consumption: for the E-YA37, power consumption during full cut-off operation is reduced by more than 70% compared with the conventional YA Pack. Low noise: during full cut-off the motor speed drops, greatly reducing noise. Low heat generation: for the E-YA37, the oil-temperature rise during continuous full cut-off operation is lowered by more than 20 C versus the conventional YA Pack. Equal pump discharge in 50/60 Hz regions: the maximum-discharge speed can be set arbitrarily by the inverter up to 1800 r/min regardless of supply frequency (minimum 300 r/min depending on pump suction capacity). Control circuits are easily configured. Operation is possible even if the pressure sensor or inverter fails. Power supply: 50 Hz AC 200 V / 60 Hz AC 200, 220 or 230 V.

Low-Noise Compact Type Standard Hydraulic Power Unit YP Pack. A low-noise, compact hydraulic power unit powered by a high-performance pump; its compact design is unrestricted by installation location, achieving an exceptionally quiet operating noise of 55 dB(A). Low-noise pump and drain cooler are mounted, and vibration-conscious component layout realizes low noise and low vibration. The vertically mounted pump and small tank give a compact design. The standard drain cooler and the pump's heat-radiating fins suppress oil-temperature rise, eliminating thermal distortion of the machine. Nine standard YP Pack models are offered, with seven option types including control circuits combining modular valves and solenoid valves. Motor: 50 Hz AC 200 V / 60 Hz AC 200 V or 220 V. Drain cooler: 50 Hz AC 200 V 28 W / 60 Hz AC 200 V 26 W / 60 Hz AC 220 V 31 W, lead 3 m.
